Introduction

History and Origins of Vedic Mathematics, Importance and Benefits, Overview of the 16 Sutras and 13 Sub-Sutras.

Addition and Subtraction

Simple addition and subtraction techniques using Vedic Sutras. Fast addition and subtraction methods.

Division Techniques

Fast division methods based on the Nikhilam Sutra. Division using the 'Paravartya' Sutra (inverse operations).

Cube and Cube Roots

Techniques for finding cubes and cube roots of numbers. Application of the Vedic methods for numbers near a base.

Algebra

Solving linear equations. Simplifying algebraic expressions using Vedic methods.

Arithmetic Progression (AP) & Geometric Progression (GP)

Solving problems related to AP and GP using Vedic methods.

Basic Principles

The concept of 'Nikhilam' (all from 9 and the last from 10), 'Urdhva-Tiryak' Sutra (Vertical and Crosswise method), 'Ekadhikena Purvena' (By one more than the previous one).

Multiplication Techniques

Multiplication by factors of 10, 100, 1000, etc. Crosswise multiplication (Urdhva-Tiryak Sutra). Special techniques for multiplying large numbers and numbers close to base values.

Squaring and Square Roots

Methods for squaring numbers, especially for numbers close to a base (like 10 or 100). Fast calculation of square roots using the 'Puranapuran' Sutra.

Fractions

Operations on fractions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Conversion between fractions and decimals.

Finding LCM and HCF

Techniques for finding the Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Highest Common Factor (HCF) using the Nikhilam Sutra.
